Takako has been with the Poakalani Hawaiian Quilting
Class for over 10 years. Orginally from Japan but lived in Ohio for over 40 years she now calls Hawaii her home. She not only embraced the culture and traditions of Hawaii but also the unique art of Hawaiian Quilting. She has become such an integral part of our class by being the liason between us and our Japanese quilters. Her quilts are amazing and I'm always in awe in what I learn from her and what she's accomplished. I cannot do with out her not because of her integral part in the class but because of who she is a good friend. Enjoy just a small selection of her completed quilts
